Features

It keeps you active. Now it keeps you caught up.

Two things built into the extension: a brief of what you missed while you were away, and a running count of the time it has covered for you.

Away Brief

Step away without missing a thing.

While Lemon Mouse Mover is on, it quietly notes the notifications your open web apps show. When you get back, one glance at the popup shows what you missed, grouped by app, newest first.

  • One glance at the popup when you're back
  • Grouped by app: Slack, Teams, Gmail and more
  • Stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, ever
Insights

See the hours it gives back.

Insights adds up every minute Lemon Mouse Mover has kept you active, so you can see exactly what it's worth: your total, your last seven days, and the time it covered while you were away.

  • Total hours saved since you started
  • A 7-day chart, today highlighted
  • Sessions, away time covered, and your streak

Included in every plan and the free trial.

Keeps your status green

The extension makes small, human-like cursor movements in your open tabs, so web apps that watch for idle time keep seeing you as active.

~0%

CPU while running. It sleeps between nudges, so your battery won't notice.

Human-like, not robotic

Randomized timing and direction. Never the same interval twice, so it never settles into a pattern.

Keeps the screen awake

Holds a screen wake lock while it's on, so your display doesn't dim or sleep through long idle stretches.

Private by design

Your Away Brief and Insights live in your browser. Nothing about what you were doing is uploaded.

FAQ

Your questions, answered.

How does Lemon Mouse Mover work?

It makes tiny, randomized cursor movements in your open tabs at an interval you choose, and holds a screen wake lock so your display stays on. Web apps that watch for idle time see that activity, so your status stays Active. The movement is a pixel or two, so it never gets in your way.

Can my employer detect it?

Assume it's possible. The extension works inside Chrome by creating activity on web pages, and administrators of managed browsers can see which extensions are installed and may run their own monitoring. Use it for downloads, renders and presentations, and follow your workplace's policies.

Does it work with Slack and Teams?

Yes, in the browser. It works with Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Zoom, Google Chat and other web apps that mark you idle after inactivity. It can't affect the desktop versions of those apps.

Which browsers does it support?

Chrome, plus Edge and other Chromium browsers that can install extensions from the Chrome Web Store. It works on Chromebooks too.

Will it slow down my computer?

No. It sleeps between nudges and uses almost no CPU. You won't notice it running, and it won't drain your battery.

What do I get for $8.99/month?

Unlimited use of the Chrome extension on every device you own, including the Away Brief and Insights, plus automatic updates and priority support. Start with a free 3-day trial and cancel anytime from your account.

What is the Away Brief?

While Lemon Mouse Mover is running, it notes the notifications your open web apps show. When you come back, the popup shows a short summary of what you missed, grouped by app. It's stored only in your browser and is never uploaded.

How are "hours saved" counted in Insights?

Insights counts the time Lemon Mouse Mover was actively running, and separately the part of that time you were away from the keyboard. It's calculated in your browser, so it works offline and nobody else sees it.

How do I cancel?

Open your account page and click Manage plan. It opens the secure billing portal where you can cancel in one click. No emails, no hoops.
